About Bill Merritts
Bill Merritts has been collecting different Audubon prints and books for several years. During this time he has amassed a fairly large collection of the different works of Audubon. These include prints from Havell, Bien Prints, and the Quadruped Folio prints. There are also complete sets of the octavo birds and quadrupeds along with a complete set of the bound edition of the Amsterdam prints. All of the prints are full sheet, have never been trimmed, and have excellent color and registration. All of this material is for sale and represents a broad cross section of Audubon's life and works.

Bill currently resides in California and was transplanted from the East Coast in the early nineties. His professional background includes several years in the Federal government and later starting a second career in the private sector. During this time he has held several and varied positions in the information technology world. A former officer in the Navy, he holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and a M.S. degree in the Management of Technology from American University. He has always been an avid collector in such areas as coins, stamps, art and books.

After visiting a traveling exhibit of Audubon books and prints about ten years ago, he was bitten by the "Audubon bug". Since that time he has collected a broad range of Audubon material. Always collecting the very best of the pristine prints and books available, the material he has amassed represents prints and books that are noted for quality, condition and rarity. Many of the prints offered for sale represent the best quality and value available at prices that reflect that quality.
